Oxford Senior Center Meeting,
Oxford, meets Mondays, 11:00 AM - 2:00 PM.
Seniors will meet at United Methodist Church from 11:00 AM to 2:00 PM. The Oxford Senior Center is available for people who want to get out and have a meal, in the company of others, in a warm and friendly atmosphere. (
On Mondays, Seniors must bring their own lunch.) Seniors are invited to get together and socialize, share memories, play cards or dominoes.
The Senior Center is open to anyone sixty years and older living within the Oxford township. Approximately 15 to 22 men and women attend. The Center offers this wonderful program *3 days-a-week, from 11:00 AM until 2:00 PM. (*On Wednesdays and Fridays, the Center is held at the St. Paul's Episcopal Church Parish House located at 32 East Main Street. Healthy and delicious lunches are prepared by the Chenango County Area Agency on Aging Nutrition Program.) Partly funded by the Town of Oxford, the United Way, and other generous contributions.
Meals are available to all senior citizens regardless of ability to pay. Contributions (suggested $3.00/person) are accepted.
