Joanne B. Herrick
of McDonough
Joanne B. Herrick, 66, of McDonough, passed away on February 11, 2010 at Chenango Memorial Hospital, Norwich. She was born on February 4, 1944 in McDonough, a daughter of the late Fred and Jeanne Brewer. On March 15, 1963 in McDonough she married Nichlous Herrick, who predeceased her on March 19, 2008. She is survived by her son and daughter-in-law, Todd and Wendy Herrick; her grandchildren, Dalton and Darci; her brothers, Gilbert Brewer and wife, Donna of McDonough, and Bruce Brewer of Oxford; her sisters-in-law, Bonnie Brewer, Kitty Brewer, Betsey Brewer, JoAnn Brewer, and Sharon Herrick; her father-in-law, Richard Herrick; brothers-in-law, Chris Herrick and wife, Arlene of South Carolina, Scott and Linda Herrick of Norwich; and her aunts, Thelma Temple, Violet Maroney, and Elaine Warren, all of German. She was predeceased by her mother-in-law, Juanita Herrick; and brothers, Dale, Steven, Fred, and Larry; and her brother-in-law, James Herrick. Joanne was a member of the American Legion Auxiliary in McDonough. She enjoyed motorcycling with her brother, Steve and nephew, Abe. She also loved to go to garage sales with her friend, Ginny Berg. She enjoyed collecting bears. She loved to watch her grandchildren and nephew race. She was well-known for spoiling her grandchildren.
Friends may call at the Behe Funeral Home, 21 Main St., Oxford on Monday from 6-8 p.m.
