The Oxford Fire Department has a series of fun events planned for the village Bicentennial weekend.

• Friday, July 25th, 7:30 PM, the department will be holding a $1,000 grand prize Bingo game in the fire house. The participant who matches a certain number of balls the fastest will win the grand prize. In the case of multiple winners, the $1,000 guaranteed prize will be divided equally.
• Saturday, July 26th, 10 AM, the membership will participate in the Bicentennial parade along with apparatus and float.
• Later on they will sponsor a dunk tank, giving residents a chance to soak their favorite local officials and personalities. Times and location of the dunk tank TBA.
• Also Saturday, there will be a "push ball" firematics display by the Oxford Volunteer Youth Explorers and a demonstration by the Guthrie Medical Center Helicopter. There will be a Fire Prevention Trailer with demonstrations, Airboat demonstration, and an EMS booth supplying blood pressure checks.
• At 7 PM, the volunteers will be holding a dance featuring a live band in the firehouse. The public is welcome to attend.
