Planting Patriotic Flowers in the Park
April 22nd: Jeanne Cline, Anne Jackson, Donna Schindler and John Farron of the Oxford Garden Club (OGC) were in attendance. Jeanne, the OGC president, discussed the final details regarding preparations for their group's arrangements for a raised flower bed for the Village. It will consist of 120 each: red geraniums, white impatiens and blue ageratum flowering plants around the LaFayette Park fountain shrubs. Donna Schindler and Anne Jackson covered research and details of the project including compost being provided by Kim Marshman and topsoil being donated by Dennis Link. The planting completion date: Memorial Day, 5/26. **UPDATE** OGC June 14th Plant Sale Benefits Bicentennial The Oxford Garden Club's (OGC) Annual Plant Sale will be June 14th, 9 AM - 1 PM, on LaFayette Park. Come to shop and support the Club's local civic beautification projects.
