Come to LaFayette Park for 3 FREE concerts!

  • July 10: At 7 PM the Chenango Blues Festival will kick-off its summer concert series with a free show in LaFayette Park featuring the swing blues-band, We Are Mighty Lester, presented by The Chenango County Blues Association and 6 On the Square. This musical event is part of the Village of Oxford Bicentennial Celebrations. This performance is made possible with public funds from the New York State Council on the Arts, administered by the Chenango County Council of the Arts.   • July 19, 7 PM, The Dady Brothers concert in LaFayette Park, presented by 6 On the Square. The Dadys will perform, "Songs of the Canal", an historic musical event with regional themes to help celebrate the Village of Oxford Bicentennial. This performance is made possible with public funds from the New York State Council on the Arts, administered by the Chenango County Council of the Arts.   • July 20th, at 3 PM, the Joe Crookston Trio, concert in LaFayette Park, presented by 6 On the Square. The Crookston Trio will be singing historic songs of the Finger Lakes, an historic musical event with regional themes to help celebrate the Village of Oxford Bicentennial. This performance is made possible with public funds from the New York State Council on the Arts, administered by the Chenango County Council of the Arts. Nov. 24th, Recycled Holiday Ornament deadline at the Primary School.

Nov. 24th rep from Josten's at High School school rings, and grad needs.

Nov. 25th, 7 PM: Drumming Circle at 6OTS.

Nov. 27-28th, no school Thanksgiving Holiday. Have a Happy!

Nov. 27th, Noon-1:30 PM, the CWU offers a free Thanksgiving Dinner at St. Joseph's Church.

Nov. 28th, 7:30 PM: Fetish Lane at 6OTS.

Nov. 28th, 7:30 PM, starts the Holiday Shoppe at 6OTS. Many hand crafted items.

Nov. 29th, 7:30 PM, Teen Battle of the Bands at 6OTS

Nov. 30th, 5 PM: HOLIDAY TREE LIGHTING in LaFayette Park!

Dec. 3rd, 4-9: Oxford Band Boosters Fund Raiser Pizza Hut Night in Norwich.
