Town and Village OfficesGovernment Information for Oxford New York

Government in Oxford is broken down into 2 major sections: Town and Village.
The Village government is responsible for the 'downtown' and nearby area, while the Town government is responsible for the surrounding countryside, encompassing a much wider area. We have tried to include as much contact information as we could locate for each respective arm of our local government, but may have missed a few items of importance. Over the next few weeks we will update and increase the amount of information about your local government as it is provided to us. If you have any suggestions or corrections, please let us know at corrections@oxfordny.com

Bridge Replacement comments needed

The bridge that crosses the Chenango River in downtown Oxford is in need of replacement, and the planning committee would like to hear your thoughts on it. The first phases of design work will involve compiling public comments, suggestions, concerns and ideas. Historic Burr design elements, safety guardrails, a walk-out area for observation/ceremonies, canoe/kayak launch, and decorative lighting are just some of the ideas that could be mentioned. At this time, comments can go directly to the DPW, Oxford Village Mayor and Oxford Town Supervisor by filling out this form:
